Ffair ARTISAN Fair

Calling all crafters, artisans and producers of handmade any- and everything! (And those who love handmade products and gifts ;)

Following on from the success of our craft markets and our Spring Festival and Christmas Fair during 2019, we'll be hosting 4 seasonal Fairs throughout 2020.

We've moved away from monthly fairs as we found that the seasonal events were much more well-attended, meaning more stalls, better sales for our stallholders and more interesting offerings for our visitors! It also provides more time for organisation and advertising, and fewer costs for our stallholders.

We want to showcase all the amazing local talent here in Ceredigion, as well as give folks a regular place to come buy from the hardworking skilled folks on their doorstep and stick it to the big corps! We have so many wonderful farmer's markets, but we're missing out on all the other amazing crafts our neighbours are creating right here in our beautiful mountain villages!

Let's make #Handmade the hallmark of quality and prosperity it always used to be!

Come along and support your local small businesses for things like handmade soaps, locally produced honey, candles, cakes & bakes, preserves etc, and handcrafted gifts of all kinds - unique, made with love and totally Welsh :D There's never been a better time to #shoplocal!

If you are a local producer or craftsperson, we'd love to hear from you. Please join our stallholders group https://www.facebook.com/groups/YGCNstallholders/ where we can keep you up to date and you can "meet" your fellow stallholders ahead of time.

It's £10 per pitch for an 6 x 6ft space with a maximum of 2 helpers and only 1 car per pitch can remain on site due to limited car parking spaces.

Tables and chairs are available to hire at £2.50 per table with 2 chairs, which must be paid for in advance with your pitch hire.

We'll also be hiring in 2 large marquees for each event, which will accomodate 12-14 pitches, and will be offered on a first-booked-first-served basis at £12.50 per pitch (marquees can be seen in pics at the bottom).

The increase in pitch rates are to help cover costs for elements such as portaloo hire, collecting and paying for the marquee hire as well as the extra work involved to put up these large structures, sometimes in less-than-great weather conditions!

We encourage folks not taking advantage of the marquee spaces to bring their own gazebos wherever possible as we will no longer have spaces inside the poly tunnel.

You can also find all the information you need in this PDF document, including information on whether you need Public Liability Insurance and what limitations our site imposes being completely off-grid, in terms of power available. It also outlines our terms and conditions and refund policy. Please ensure you read this document BEFORE you book a pitch.
