Kale "Red Russian" (Organic)
A very versatile and frost-hardy kale, with toothed flat leaves that are tinged purple-red. Suitable for eating as baby leaves raw in salads as well as mature in cooking, it's sweeter after a frost. A really good stable for your winter veg plot!
When planting out be sure to plant up to the first true leaves and firm in well as they do not like loose soil. Protect from cabbage white butterfly and cabbage root fly with fleece of mesh.
